In Morpho we focus on the art and beauty of the tattoos rather
than the person they’re on. Morpho is named after the Morpho
butterfly (featured on the back cover) known for going through a
physical change. Their blue wings enhance their beauty, just like
tattoos would to a human. This magazine features the history and
evolution of tattoos, the artist’s passion and relationship to the
craft of ink on skin, and the external expression of self. Tattoos
are more than just permanent ink, they’re an art form. A sense of
recognition, respect, and culture.
